    Susan has been working in the Fire Rescue profession since 1978.
    She is emplyed by the Broward Sheriff's Office Department of Fire
    Rescue and Emergency services as a Paramedic, Firefighter, Rescue
    Training Officer, and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant. Susan
    was instrumental in developing and implementing the First Responder program
    at the Broward Police Academy and has taught Corrections and Law Enforcement
    Officers for several years.

    Aside from her Rescue and Teaching experience, Susan has been riding and showing
    horses, by her account since birth. With both experience teaching horsemanship
     and equation, working with Horses and the Handicapped program, she currently shows
    American Saddle Bred Horses at the state and National levels.
